Van Stenis Group

In 2016, Van Stenis Group was formed by combining the three companies of the Van Stenis brothers: Sellon, Luitec and Startflow. These companies offer industrial services and products in the field of flow technology. The brothers have brought the divisions together under Van Stenis Group in order to stand stronger together in the market and to utilise the strength of a group.

The Van Stenis Group's overall pay-off is: together in control. The common denominator of the divisions is that they are always busy with the "flow" control of various industrial processes. The group is also focused on corporate social responsibility by applying technical and energy-efficient innovations for their customers.

 

Challenge

The Van Stenis brothers wanted to join forces in order to grow their three companies. However, the current marketing department did not have enough resources to carry out the necessary marketing activities. Marketing activities were limited and much was carried out ad hoc without a strategy. Also, the customer database was not in order and a structured process was lacking.

 
Hence our challenge to better market Van Stenis Group and restructure the group internally so business growth can be achieved. For this, the divisions must be marketed as one Van Stenis Group, the marketing department must be optimized, and a productive collaboration must be established between the overarching marketing team and the division's sales teams.

Approach

Van Stenis Group had to start from scratch when it comes to marketing and sales alignment. That is why our approach focuses on the transformation of these two departments. Meetings and workshops were held with different stakeholders to get an insight into the target group of Van Stenis Group and to align the marketing department with this target group. Next to optimizing the marketing and sales processes, steps were taken to measure marketing performance, improve the websites of the divisions, implement email marketing software and improve the rankings in search engines on key search terms. 

 

Result

Together with Van Stenis Group we have been able to achieve several notable results:

  • A complete transformation strategy has been developed and presented.
  • The marketing and sales processes have been restructured. 
  • The website is improved and better found in search engines.
  • We have successfully implemented Google Ads for the different divisions, resulting in 8 quotation requests and 3 orders so far.
